The whole uni mentality annoys me more and more. There’s no midpoint, there’s either people not getting enough money to live or there’s people getting way too much. Students get student loans to fund their courses and then go and waste money getting plastered just for the sake of it, and those people quite honestly shouldn’t get any loan, let alone people who get bursaries and then spend that doing the same.
On the facebook page for our course someone posted about “loans are in: buy some tickets for the best night out…” and it just drives me mad that half the people seem to go to university just to get trashed, all paid for by student finance.
“Down it fresher!” How about fuck off.
